I was introduced to an extraordinary Victorian Mining site at Morwellham Quay which offered unique historical introspection and space - after long tours away from home there was an energy about this stillness that was intoxicating and felt the perfect place to write and record this first single. The vastness of it paired with all the forgotten silent stories and the change being witnessed mesmerized my imagination and re-energised me and for once, the quiet was louder.
